Come join us for this series of workshops that focuses on improving your balance using the Pilates methodology. BALANCE is much more then just standing on one leg. It is a very dynamic process that involves multiple aspects of our mind and body. Balance is the ability to coordinate sensory input to your body and coordinating the muscle response to that specific activity.

The series of workshops will take you from the floor to standing using a variety of exercises and tools to target improving muscle strength & flexibility while integrating several aspects of balance both with static and dynamic movement.
BALANCE contributes to great posture - allowing the muscles to work in equilibrium resulting in standing more erect, sitting at a desk without pain, or pulling weeds out of the garden When in balance muscles do not need to strain and the body can be more efficient. This gives the body more freedom and energy in sports as well as everyday activities.

$20/workshop or $45 for all 3 pd in advance.

Offering private, semi-private and small group instruction in the teachings of Joseph H. Pilates, the studio is fully equipped with the Pilates apparatus including the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Barrels. Located on Route 7 (East Market Street) near historic downtown Leesburg the facility is easily accessible to the Dulles Greenway, with plenty of off-street parking.
